When Selena Gomez's teaser video came out yesterday to accompany her latest single, "Fetish", many commented on the 24-year-old's sultry vocals, overly-glossed lips, and Canadian artist Petra Collins' vision for the '70s-inspired video.

But the slight appearance of freckles on Gomez's nose and cheeks wasn't well received by some fans. Last night, make-up artist Hung Vanng posted a photograph of the Texan singer look for the video, detailing what he did. Vanng appeared to have focused on leaving her brows and complexion relatively bare, with a slick of balm on her lips and a dusting of freckles across her nose and cheekbones.

Several fans insisted that Gomez doesn't actually have any freckles and suggestions that she does are "fake."

One user wrote, "Fake freckles? Really Bruh?" Some even accused Vanng of Photoshopping the image, and complaining they weren't visible in the Spotify video.

Others came to Vanng's defense.

"Omg them freckles got haters shook," wrote one Instagram user. Another noted, "We all know Selena doesn't have freckles but clearly maybe she wanted to try them out. That was her choice. There is no need for you brats in the comments to come on hungs page and attack him."

Of course, there are other Selena fans who couldn't give a damn.

"Who cares about freckles when it is about Selena Gomez?" asked one.

Exactly.
