Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! has officially wrapped filming.

Downton Abbey star turned Hollywood actress Lily James shared the news on Instagram on Saturday (December 2), complete with cute picture and very excitable caption.

"That. Is. A. Wrap," she wrote.

"This was the happiest most wonderful job. I loved it all. And everyone. Big up Mamma Mia 2.

"Crew. Cast. Abba. Love you."

James, who plays the younger version of Meryl Streep's character Donna in the movie, started filming Mamma Mia 2 in August this year.

The sequel to the 2008 musical welcomes back all of its original cast members; including Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Julie Walters, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård, Christine Baranski and Dominic Cooper.

But that's not enough star power for a film like Mamma Mia 2, so the sequel has also confirmed some very welcome new additions.

New to the cast is Cher in a not-yet-disclosed role, as well as War Horse star Jeremy Irvine and Poldark's Hugh Skinner, who will play a younger version of Brosnan and Firth's characters respectively.

The brand new musical will act as a half-prequel, half-sequel to the original, as the story revisits Donna and her lost loves while still checking in with our favorite singing family.

And yes, Pierce Brosnan will definitely be singing again.

ABBA's Benny has also confirmed some of the new songs we can expect to hear in the film, including 'Angel Eyes', 'I Wonder' and 'When I Kissed the Teacher' will all be featured.

Hurry up, 2018!

Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! is due for release in US cinemas on July 20, 2018.
