Wednesday evening's grand opening of the limited-edition Chanel Beauty House pop-up in Los Angeles proved to be a cool, colorful, content-focused playground for Instagram-loving celebrities and influencers. And the lipstick-filled dreamland was the perfect place for a movie mother-daughter reunion.

At least that's what we can assume Kristen Stewart and her onscreen Twilight daughter Mackenzie Foy thought as they posed together at the LA event to celebrate the launch of the brand's user-generated beauty Instagram community, @welovecoco.

Stewart, 27, and Foy, now 17, starred as Bella and Renesmee Cullen in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2. This marks one of their rare meet-ups since the final movie in the franchise released in 2012, and Foy is all grown-up.

In addition to playing family, the two shared some sweet bonding moments off-screen, which included hiking together in their downtime. "Kristen is an amazing, sweet, wonderful actress and I'm so lucky to be working with her," Foy told MTV in 2011.

The Bella/Renesmee reunion wasn't all that serendipitous; Stewart has been a long-time official muse for the label, and Foy has also dipped her toes into the fashion world as a former child model for big brands like Ralph Lauren and Guess Kids. So, it comes as no surprise that both got the exclusive A-list Chanel invite.

Since graduating from the Twilight universe, Stewart has forged a close relationship to Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel. “It’s a back-to-front full-circle story,” she told WWD of her connection to the French fashion house. “The first two times I ever met Karl, or the team he worked with, which definitely came before meeting him, I saw they have an ease in which they approach aesthetic."

Of her partnership with label, Stewart explained,"I was like, ‘Yeah, I would love to help you tell your stories and help you make your art. I do something else entirely, but if you think this dress will do the thing and I respond to it…’ To watch people who do that, especially as an actor, it’s kind of the same feeling you have when you see a director find their vision."
