Attention, fans of 18th-century British dudes in too-tight breeches and tricorn hats: Poldark season two is finally happening, and there's a trailer to prove it. The clip explains very little in the way of plot, but that's fine because there are a lot of smoldering stares and all-caps keywords like "TEMPTATIONS," "PASSION," and "BETRAYALS." Last season — spoiler alert if you haven't seen it, and please fix your life immediately — Poldark married his maid Demelza, after he came back from war to find that his childhood love Elizabeth had married his cousin Francis. Based on this teaser, it seems that Poldark will have some run-ins with Elizabeth that will cause Demelza to get jealous. But not too jealous, because later in the video she makes out with him.
Poldark also gives a righteous speech and gets into a fight, so probably there will be some drama about his criminal past. Unfortunately, Poldark does not do any shirtless farming in this clip, but it's only 30 seconds long so don't give up hope just yet. As a reminder of what shirtless farming is, here is a screencap:
