Hi, so, there’s a lot going on in Bachelor Nation this morning (a potential new secret show, for example), but let’s go ahead and circle back to Clare Crawley real quick. As you’re likely well aware at this point, Clare quit The Bachelorette due to falling in love with contestant Dale Moss over the course of legit 12 days. Like, she refused to go on dates with other men, wouldn’t leave her hotel room, and now, apparently they’re engaged.
The speediness of Clare and Dale’s relationship has Bachelor Nation thinking Clare broke the rules and started talking to him back in March, and this source quote from People pretty much supports that theory:
“One of her potential guys found a way to get in touch with her and they began talking,” the source said. “By the time filming officially began, they were basically already in love. No one else stood a chance. It just became so obvious from her subsequent few dates that her heart wasn’t in it and she just wasn’t feeling it. Then she said she wanted out.”
How! Ev! Er! According to Clare’s close friend Michelle Money, she and Dale literally NEVER ONCE spoke before The Bachelorette started filming a few weeks ago. “Clare Crawley never spoke to Dale before filming,” Michelle said on her Instagram Stories. "That is 1,000 percent factual information. Never happened, fake news. She was impressed by his social media account. But never DM’d, never texted, never talked. 1,000 percent fake news.”
In other words, Clare and Dale just got that close that fast.
