A Fergie and Nicki Minaj collaboration is so obvious that "You Already Know," their slam dunk pop-rap track, is surprising only because they hadn't already recorded something like it before. And for the song's music video, both divas turned it out for a music video that's all in black and white, but which has plenty of colorful moments.
From its opening moments, "You Already Know" sets a strong visual palette — black and white, stark lines, and women looking absolutely fantastic in suits. It's a fitting visual to go with the minimalist production on the song itself:
When Nicki enters the song, she also suits up:
But neither women, bless em, stays suited up for very long. Nicki opts for a classic bandage dress:
As for Fergie? A decade-plus solo music hiatus looks good on her:
Her visual album Double Duchess drops on September 22, and if this is anything like what the rest of the album looks like, fans are in for a treat.
