Gone are the days where pieces like "Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Go to Town on This Minefield of Back Blackheads" and "See This Woman's 20-Year-Old Egg-Size Head Cyst Get Ripped Off in 1 Piece" dominated your news feed. Thankfully, collectively, the webz have moved on to something more palatable — the removal of belly button umboliths, which are, for those of you living under rocks, naval secretions that, if not cleaned, "lead to the formation of a stone."

It's unclear why the shift has occurred (these videos have been circulating as long as the aforementioned ones have), but there's only so much pus-filled fatty tissue a person can take, you know?

To help you stay current, I've GIF'd a clip from a video called "naval stone from a dirty bellybutton" that went viral earlier this year and is now picking up steam again below. You can watch the full video above. Also recommended? Bizarre ER Episode 2: Naval Nightmare Short.
