As is their way, Donald Trump seemingly went to hold Melania’s hand while leaving the White House for a day trip to Ohio on Monday and ... was not able to follow through. Whether that’s because Melania’s hand was inside her jacket or because she was avoiding his touch is unclear.
After the non-hand-holding incident, the President stopped short to answer reporters’ questions on the White House lawn, catching the First Lady off-guard. They then continue toward Air Force One, again, not holding hands.
