Sometimes, you just really need a bowl of shrimp scampi, some soup and salad, and a ton of the tastiest breadsticks known to man. But you don’t want to trudge all the way to Olive Garden for it, because you’d rather stay on the couch watching The Great British Baking Show. Luckily, it looks like Olive Garden is listening to the world’s comfort-food needs and is testing delivery with Amazon.

"The only way Amazon is in our world right now is through Amazon Prime delivery," Gene Lee, the CEO of parent company Darden Restaurants, told investors in a conference call. "We have a test going on with them. We'll continue to partner with them and see if we can make that work."

Olive Garden already has takeout as an option, and is working with various other companies to deliver for large groups. Their ToGo takeout program grew 16 percent during the last quarter, according to CNBC.

But at this point, if you want food delivered, you have to use an outside service like DoorDash or buy a large catering order, Grub Street reports. If Olive Garden worked with Amazon’s Restaurants service, you could get your order of soup, salad, and breadsticks without changing out of your pajamas. And that sounds like the perfect, and perfectly lazy, solution.
