Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been featured nonstop in tabloids near and far since news of their divorce broke Sept. 19. Brangelina fans have been hit with so many rumors, frankly, it’s been hard to keep up. Where will everyone live? How will their millions be divided? What will happen to the six kids? Is Angelina really trying to be a politician? Here, the latest dramatic rumors, courtesy of the tabloids you know and (sometimes) love:
1. Angelina has “long plotted” on leaving Brad. According to Us Weekly, Angelina has long been unhappy with her marriage after “years” of fighting and had been laying the groundwork to leave Brad. Us quotes a source who claims to be Angie’s friend: “Angie says she is going to destroy him. If something is broken, she just throws it away.”
2. Angelina’s been working with an “inner circle.” Us Weekly quotes a source saying that the group has been running a “smear campaign” of sorts against the Brad, on behalf of Angelina. Page Six has named two members of this alleged inner circle: Lady Arminaka Helic (member of the U.K. House of Lords) and Chloe Dalton (former aide at the Hague). A source tells Page Six that the so-called advisers have been “calling all the networks and news outlets, placing stories that he was cheating, drunk, on drugs, out of control and abusive, which Brad denies.”
3. The rumored Brangelina fights were “heated” and “screaming.” A source tells Us Weekly that Brad and Angelina constantly bickered about how to raise their kids. The magazine also dials it back to 2009, when a source said that Brad wanted to enroll the kids in school in New Orleans while Angelina preferred homeschooling to coincide with their traveling schedule.
4. Angelina is not moving to the U.K. According to a People source, despite her humanitarian work with British foreign policy experts, Angelina has no plans to permanently move across the pond following the divorce. This may come as a surprise to those following Angie’s academic plans, as she is scheduled to teach at the London School of Economics in September 2017 as a visiting professor. People notes that the Jolie-Pitts still have a rental home in London.
5. Angelina is the “wife from hell.” This stunning claim comes from In Touch. As you can see from its latest cover, Angelina reportedly “physically attacked Brad during jealous rages” and “locked herself in bedroom for days” while Brad has some information from her “psych records.” In Touch also calls their home the “house of horrors” so take this with a huge grain of salt.
6. Brad cheated in Croatia. The folks at Radar Online are reporting that Brad was unfaithful to Angie two weeks before she filed for divorce. The actor was reportedly in town to look at a real estate investment when he met a “sexy brunette.” The anonymous brunette’s friend tells Radar that things went down in “Angelina’s bed.” “She didn’t give me any details. All I know he was quite taken with her.”
7. Angelina found Brad “out of it” after returning home from a trip. Life & Style reports that Angelina was “horrified” when she returned from a United Nations trip. An insider tells the tabloid that the Jolie-Pitt home was in “disarray” and that Brad looked “glassy-eyed and out of it.” They allegedly had a confrontation and Brad “yelled back at her so loudly that his voice got hoarse.”
8. NBC was going to bless the world with a Brangelina special. According to Page Six, the network’s in-house production company Peacock Productions pulled the plug on a one-hour special on Brangelina’s breakup at the last minute. The decision was reportedly due to fears that airing the special would burn bridges between NBC News and the former couple for future interviews.
